Effect of radiographic & histopathologic variants in management of ameloblastoma

Introduction: Ameloblastoma is a rare, benign odontogenic tumor that accounts for 1% of all tumors the jaws. We aim to compare ameloblastoma recurrence rate according type treatment: radical or conservative and as per radiographic, histologic features. Material methods: we conducted retrospective study collected data based on radiological, histological treatment. Results: Thirty Patients were included, managed by treatment (CT) in 26 cases (RT) 14 cases. The was 90.9% CT group 9.1% RT (P = 0.025) with mean follow-up 56.2 months. Conclusion: after higher than choice must be adapted macroscopic characteristics each patient.
